The meet and greet is a time for you to meet us and us to meet you and your pet and make sure we are a good fit for each other. A quick meeting to see how your pet will react to new people coming into your home and hopefully alleviate any fears or stress your pet may have/show when we enter on our visits.

Meeting with a manager:
This gives us the option to meet you and your pet(s). Make sure we are a great fit for each other and see how your pet responds to someone new in your home. There is no charge to meet with a member of management.

Meeting with your sitter:
This gives you the option for you and your pet to meet with your sitter. This type of meet and greet is required if your pet has any know fears or aggressions with meeting new people. We want to keep everyone safe as well as make sure your pet can properly receive their visit. Even if your pet does not have any fears or aggressions we completely understand if you would still like to meet with your sitter. There is $20.00 fee to meet with your sitter.

Opt Out of Meet and Greet:
We highly recommend a meet and greet but in some cases we understand a meet and greet is not possibly. In order to qualify to Opt out of a meet and greet we require the following:
*Garage Code, Door Code or Lockbox. No Hidden Keys
*All requested services paid for in advance.
*Completed client profile including home details and pet details, all agreements and proof of rabies vaccinations for all applicable pets.
*Initial visit can not be for more than 2 days. (In case of issues)
If for some reason your pet will not allow us to enter the home or shows fears or aggressions. We will not be able to care for your pet, but you will be charged for the visit.

Accessing a client’s home is sometimes the most challenging part of being a pet sitter. So we have a few options and questions to help us master entry to your home without taking from your pets needs.
Option 1 - Lockbox: We use Lockboxes to keep your keys safe. They are kept at your home in a location you chose that is safe but easily accessible to our sitters. This allows use for your sitter for day to day visits and spur of the moment visits. You can provide your own lockbox or use one of ours. If you choose to use one of ours, we hold a $35 deposit while you have it. We also recommend providing a backup key to keep in our office just in case a lockbox is frozen, jammed or sitters accidently lock themselves out of your home.
Option 2- Door or Garage Code: Another great option, we do ask for a back up key to keep in our office for times of power loss.

Option 3 - On Site Pickup: If you live in a condo or apartment that has a leasing office or concierge desk we can pickup but the time used to pickup keys will go towards part of the visit as we have experiences timing issues with desks and offices from time to time although usually not ongoing. If you plan to have a steady schedule that is the same from week to week.

Fobs, Openers, Secure Buildings and Gates: If your community requires any of these items please let us know so we can work out a plan with them. These can create timely problems

Parking: Its best to provide parking for our sitters, if you cannot provide parking and it’s not easily available it can create timing issues for our sitters and your visits. If we have to pay for parking, we will apply a reimbursement charge to the visit. Please view our Service Agreement for more details on parking.

We will be in touch to confirm we have received your request and with any questions. Once we confirm we have availability we will set up a meet and greet. If you do not hear from us within a few days please contact us in case there is a technology burp on either end.
